Behaviour Change Communication for Health & Well-being

INSPIRE

We spark curiosity and motivate change by making health information relatable, simple, and culturally relevant. Through storytelling, community conversations, and visual learning tools, we inspire women and families to see that good health is possible and worth aiming for even in difficult environments.

EMPOWER

We equip women and caregivers with clear, practical knowledge they can use every day; from nutrition and hygiene to maternal health, child care, disease prevention, and environmental health.

By providing trusted information in accessible formats, we empower communities to make informed decisions, care for their families, and seek the right services when they need them.

INFLUENCE

We work to change attitudes, norms, and behaviors that harm health and well-being. Through sustained engagement and community-led discussions, we influence positive habits such as early health-seeking, preventive care, breastfeeding, sanitation, and environmental responsibility.

Through the Know for Life Initiative, ALIVE is building informed, confident communities where women and children are better equipped to protect their health, improve their quality of life, and thrive.

Know for Life Initiative is ALIVE’s behavior change communication program designed to address poor health awareness, misinformation, and limited access to reliable health information in underserved communities. Many preventable illnesses persist not because solutions don’t exist, but because people lack the knowledge, confidence, and access needed to make healthy choices.

Through community education, outreach sessions, group discussions, and practical demonstrations, we help women and families understand how to protect their health, prevent disease, and navigate health systems with confidence.
