ELIMINATING MALARIA IN AFRICA

Malaria is responsible for one in five childhood deaths in Africa, pregnant women and children under 5 are the most vulnerable to malaria. We provide Insecticide-Treated-Nets (ITN), diagnostic testing/treatment and preventive anti-malaria medicine (IPTp) to prevent malaria amongst pregnant women and children under-5 living in disadvantaged communities.

According to the 2020 World Malaria Report, Nigeria had the highest number of global malaria cases in 2019 and accounted for the highest number of deaths.

According to UNICEF, every two minutes a child under five dies of malaria. Many of these deaths are preventable and treatable.
